I wish I could've splurged and went for the fifty dollar pledge, but I had to settle for the minimum.

the $50 reward sure is tempting. gonna have to think this through a bit.

edit: fuck this, i just did it. if the game ends up sucking i'll have a cloth map i can wipe my ass with at least.

edit edit: they should get mark morgan to do the soundtrack for this thing

edit edit edit: the video is a bit eh

if you care at all about the emergence of medium budget games being entirely crowd funded, then you should be glad that games take a long time to develop, because this game is going to underwhelm like crazy but at least it won't turn people off the idea for a year or so

$50 pledge, plus I'm going to throw in a bit for the RPG Codex statue. If this all comes together nicely, my favourite genre might stop being shit.

basically im seeing it this way: whether the game is going to be a disappointment or not isnt that relevant. the success of the wl2 campaign sends a message to other devs that theres still a market for that style of crpg.

And technically this is going to break even, everything on top of the kickstarter is pure profit.
There's really no worry for that team to make a game that is marketable or adjusted to work for a bigger crowd of people.
