I remember not liking the second one, but Wario Land 3 is one of my favorite games ever. Granted I played when I was young, but I remember it well enough.
(This makes me play the game again, and I'll now
)
Edit: Just played it, the game is as nice as I remembered. The background graphics are kinda lazy, but the sprites and animation is good. Music is ok.
One "whoa" moment that I had when I played a few moments ago was that this is like Nintendo's
Braid in some aspects like:
-There's no death penalty.
-Both games aren't action packaged platformers but puzzle platformers (there needs to be some timing on both game's puzzles though).
-Enemies are used to get items. (in Braid only puzzle pieces while in Wario Land 3 is more than that)
But yeah, it's a very fun game to me. I need to try the first one and see how it fare out, and I'll give another chance to the second.
Edit: The music might be average, but this tune is cool.
