not saying the game is perfect and the lifepoint thing IS pretty retarded BUT i didnt really mind most of the flaws because there were other parts of the game i liked enough to "suffer" through them

well I will try the game again, I have after all purchased the damn thing long ago so I will try seeing it with more recent eyes or something.

I will give you a narration of my wonderful "unlimited" adventure

i guess I'll take the first character? Is she easier to play?


EDIT: fuck off I am taking Kurt he looks like a badass i dont care if he is hard to play... he wears pink!!! wait thats a horrible reason..!! oh well!!!!

upon selecting him, he said "Hi!! Im Kurt Burgundy. Let's go on an adventure together!!"
Let's go Kurt. Let's do this.


a mysterious assassin appears!!! I decide to throw him because it's a possibility.
it did 50 damage to him! then he moved 3 times with X TERMINATION and shuriken and i lost all my hp and 5 out of 17 LP. ouch!!! I hit him with a sword and learned double mist. 100 damage and 1 LP damage!! whoa, this guy has more than 1 LP! enemies usually only have a few? well, looks like unarmed attacks SUCK!!! I'll only sword this guy. Double mist kills him!! Why do i have to look at a reel carefully instead of just selecting it. oh well.

now i am with his dad for some reason, who is a conservative knight while my guy is full of dreams of knowledge!! how exciting. Dad disowns Kurt and says it is the mother's fault, what a man.
I have to unravel the mystery of the gauntlet... on my own...

ill choose the first adventure because its the only thing i can do, except choose the second adventure which seems really tough??? the Monster Manor! too spooky.

im on a road with some kid. there are waterfalls

a boss appears out of nowhere in a dreamlike thing and i have to fight him 1v1. when i win kurt comments that it is weird and it is like time was stopped or something, and that he wasnt hurt from that fight. good thing because all monsters hit him and he is very hurt.

Okay, I finished level 1 I guess?? hurray??


im in a new village, there are other adventures. i can buy items and one of them is "mullock" a material. what is that help
i will buy it

next adventure is crossing the vale apparently

the adventure's theme is separating my two characters, thats cool okay

after a dozen traps and boulders a treasure chest monster kills my secondary character who is alone!! game over.... great game!!

This sounds so strange, I want to try playing it. Give us more journals, all of the discussion surrounding these games is just fantastic.

i dont think i will play this again, maybe I could stand this game without the reel but that whole system just totally kills it for me!!
