looks pretty nice and the water flows nicely down the hills However the breaking waves (like if they get bigger) look a bit weird (jittery). Now all you need are some NPCS/monsters and a few spells and this will be awesome to play

First heard of this on RPS, I am absolutely in love with it already. I get a full 60 FPS without AA on, it drops to 50 when enabled.

I'm glad you like it! RPS was totally unexpected for me I might add simpler post-processing AA later. The current one is a variant of morphological AA which is quite slow.

The water is pretty impressive, good job!
I ran some tests on averagely specced laptop: Processor: i3 m350 @ 2.27GHz Ram: 4 gig Windows 64 bit
I got about 17 fps. Disabeling post-processing gained me about 4ps. Didn' t notice much from the other options.
I accidentily left the exe running on the background for about 30 minutes and the framerate dropped to 3 fps. So you probably have a memory leak somewhere.

Why is it asking for a disk?

A disk? That's strange. What is the message exactly? Can you post a screenshot?

Did you try turning off AA and post-effect? (F6 and F5 in game). Also, your screen resolution and a shot of those stat numbers could be useful.

Turned off post effect (AA was already off) and I got about 8 FPS. 1920 x 1080 (windowed). I'm running dual monitors if that matters. Here's a shot:
