I updated the file earlier today with an updated version... You need the 0.6 files as well, to note...

- 0.6 download
- 0.7 files added to 0.6 folder

I'm just gonna package everything for convenience from now on, this was a failed experiment :I

When I saw the first post in the thread, I had imagined it was a flash game embedded in a page where the play window was so tall you had to scroll it up and down to find areas where action may be occurring.

All right, this here's a revised package for 0.7 that features every file required. Delete the existing folder, though.

Many thanks to Pandara_RA! for producing a video of the game :D

All right, this should actually be the last update to 0.7.

Version 0.72

This fixes the continues bug, and also adds a little bit of things.
Namely, the evaluation screen displays an average framerate, and you can play at the equivalent of a 90FPS Touhou.
Go to the config menu and hit "turbo mode," and then wonder why exactly Stage 2 on Standard is completely freaking impossible.

Man I had a lot of fun on v0.6 - just tried it last night. I know it's supposed to be a fairly straightforward bullet-hell, but it still felt fresh and exciting, and when I lost I really wanted to try again.

For me, the only criticism I can even think of is that power ups seem almost meaningless. In no time, unless I misunderstand what is going on, you have your weapon fully upgraded, and even when you die it comes back again in no time.

Getting ready to dl version 0.72 now!

Heheh, thank you, and sorry for the late reply~!

I've just recently started work once again, as the Big Hiatus is now over and I am making progress on Stage 5-1, the first part of the last level.

(it's slightly difficult)

If all goes well, the next version should be 1.0. Including, not limited to the following, Stage 5, Stage EX, remappable keys, joystick support, actual boss graphics, backgrounds, and more difficulty edits.
This can perhaps be expected within the next six months.

Many people have pointed out the power-ups issue, and the main reason for this is I don't want to have the player become entirely crippled were they to die in the middle of the section that is scarce in power, such as all of Stage 4, or a boss battle.
If a boss trips you up more than once and your power gets downgraded two stages as a result you're at a fraction of the power and you'll be forced to put up with things for much longer than you would when you were doing well. It's a paradoxical thought, I'm sure, but I can't be bothered to toss out the power system entirely, like it was in the prequel.
I believe that I will remedy this by decreasing your power by a larger margin when you die, and hope that the player has the insight to immediately start bombing everything if they desperately need power again.
Dying currently cuts your power 25%, so I might try 40% or 50%.

It's definitely taken a backseat to Chaos Weapon, but I do enjoy popping in once a week or so to do minor stuff, such as entire stages.
