I own JSR I just prefer JSRF's focus on speed. The spraying minigame really disrupts the game flow, IMO.
The movement in JSRF is an improvement in itself, but a pointless one, because there's no pressure. JSRF is the only game I ever gave up due to boredom towards the end.
I like the spraying minigame. It's just a waste of time in certain areas, but when you have to do it with enemies on your ass, it gives the most superb sense of urgency I've seen in any game.
yeah and i do that all the time (i've switched to emulation for all my pre-ps2 consoles) but i don't own jsr because i don't own a dreamcast that's the whole point
Right. Because crowe was talking about nostalgia and your reply, I forgot that you never played JSR. It'll be interesting to hear what people new to the game, in this day, think of it.
If your machine's up to it, you should switch to emulation for PS2 as well. PCSX2 is nearly perfected at this stage.
