Maps? :D

Automatically mark traps that the player has seen detonate, and if the player steps onto a teleporter themself, have it draw a line to where it teleports, and/or do not mark the player's position on the map until they make it back to a part already drawn. You shouldn't automatically know where you are if you get teleported into an undiscovered area Tongue

If the player is holding a stick, pen, or potion in their offhand, let them expend it to draw on the map manually. Be careful which potion you use! Wouldn't want to burn that map, now...and if you screw up drawing something, make sure you pick up something that can erase! Perhaps an antidote will do the trick...

Are the cabins drawn in a different colour like the water/lava already?

So, I just loaded Delver this morning after noticing it downloaded a sizable update.  25 MB or so, but didn't think much of it since there wasn't a post on the steam news feed or anything here.  I start it and didn't notice anything off the bat, up until I opened my map and saw the new look.  I immediately started playing the first dungeon through and couldn't help but look for a change log of some kind.

Thing is, I can't find anything on it.  Did I miss something? lol

I'm loving the new room randomization! However, there's one significant problem:

On my first new map generation, I ran through a door where the floors on either side were drastically different in height. As a result, I couldn't walk back through the door.

I was fortunate enough in that playthrough to find a teleporter that could get me back, but I doubt I'll be that lucky in the future.

[EDIT] Btw, was today's update new content or just bugfixes? Or both?

Yep, huge improvements I wasn't expecting due to the relative silence of the devs since a while.  Sad

Hope they're still working on Delver, even if it would be a paid expansion if it can help them fund it  Beg
