So, all the graphics for items and entities are done, but a lot of the entities are just palette swaps for now..
Items and tiles still need work, especially tiles.
There's custom gui and font.

List of "new" Monsters, these will change, but right now they're:
Delvers -> Succubi (different colors)
Blue trolls ->Demon
Delver Wizard->Elven Wizard (different colors)
Worms->Snakes
Skeletons in robes -> Elven Wizards (palette swapped)

I think all graphics are custom now, except for necklaces.

It's no 8bit music ;_; but hey, it's not my fault, that I have only relatively simple "natural" instruments to work with - the really good stuff would cost several thousand bucks
8 bit would be chiptunes, btw ^^

Oh, and you might want to mod some textures first, if you get used to it, you can add new monsters or items later to the game.

Oh to me the only ones i ever here sound like 8bit but i guess not and i had ago of modding textures for minecraft,delver is still better though,so yeah

I think it's time to make a mods page on the official website to start collecting all this cool stuff

Mod makers: PM me the name of your mod and a one paragraph description, a zipped assets folder for it, and a screenshot or two and I'll add you to the list.

I've been playing around with monsters.dat all day, and items too!
I abused the system a bit to create some new behavior and features, haha :D

Try it out! There's like 10+ new monsters, and some even help you (but how!?)..
Not gonna spoil anything, good luck completing it though.. I can't even make it to level 6 anymore.

Monster hp really needs min values though, it's too random now, also I increased the damage of a ton of monsters, but usually they barely scratch me and then all of a sudden, bam I die.
(also, 0 or negative atk value crashes the game when the monster attacks)

As for weapons, wands could use a cast speed value, and projectile speed value.

Also here's the Mod, not just a texture pack now :D

Hi, I just downloaded Delver today. I assume it's the latest version (it  was straight from the site) But when I tried to run it by double clicking the jar or opening it with Java, all I get is a black window with nothing to do or click. From what I've seen the game looks awesome, and I'd love to play, but I don't know how to fix it. Thanks in advance if you can help.

Love it. Bought on Android, running it on Mac as well.  It's already lots of fun, tho I'm excited for all the future improvements.  You put in food... I pray you don't implement a compulsory Hunger mechanic, which kills the ability to explore.

BTW, this would kill on PSVita as a mini.  There's nothing else like it on the platform, and I have little doubt you'd find an eager audience.
