Hey all

I wanted to tell you quickly about a little web site I'm running called http://www.45aday.com.

The idea is very simple, it's to encourage indie game developers to spend 45 minuets a day on their game and update their progress on the web site for historical documenting, commenting and receiving feedback from like minded people.

If it sounds like something that may interest you please head on over!

The idea seems nice!
Maybe I will put my project in your site to check how it goes. I usually spend more than this by day in the development of my game.  Beer!

Try it out, whats the worse that could happen? :-)

45 Minutes is just a guideline, I too spend more than that on my games, it's all good!

Great idea. I spend an allocated amount of time in my game, actually. The time my laptop's battery takes to deplete (about 2.5 hours). I mostly go at it after dinner.

I might as well, I spend well over 45 minutes on my game per day. More like 6 hours, all day on the weekend.

School takes up most of my time.. from about 9 to 3. Then I take a break for a while and work on my game until bed time at whenever I feel like it. Lately, 11:30.

Very much like myself, only it's my day job not school.

It's a good way to keep track of what you've done, it's really satisfying looking back at your work and realising just how much you'e done!
Not only that but the few of us on there are always keen to drop in ideas and give feedback. Some of the ideas I've had towards my game and really helped shape it.

What's the benefit compared to, say, starting a DevLog at TIGSource?
