"First Look" trailer.

http://youtu.be/T6UAbizhsRo

Looks great aesthetically, just hope 343i learn from at least some of the design mistakes Bungie made.

I want Marathon 4 instead. This isn't gonna be on PC, so I have no way of playing it, and my interest is therefore nonexistent.

Zzz.

Tired of sequels, tired of linear shooters designed as vehicles for good multiplayer. Fucking surprise me for once.

I played Halo 1 on pc, it was a solid game, respect. Then I played Halo 3 on Xbox360, the horrible aiming mechanics alone made playing pointless for me. When console-shooter-devs finally realize that aiming-mechanics have to match the quality of Modern Warfare?

Halo has far better aiming than Call of Duty does.

Halo Reach had the best aiming in Halos but it is no match for the smoothness and linearity of Modern Warfare. Come back after you have played Modern Warfare.

If you stay with your opinion then I would like you to elaborate why you feel so.

"Smoothness and linearity" haha okay whatever. You aren't even speaking real words, just nonsense fluff. How the fuck do those words even relate to aiming in a meaningful way.

You can use a mouse and keyboard in this Halo, so aiming won't be an issue.

It will be for people who don't.

Seconded.

I'd still rather play a Skyrim style RPG set on Niven's Ringworld.  Either that or a Ringworld roguelike.

I have detailed technical understanding about controls and game-mechanics. You don't.

having played about 2 hours of halo and 10 hours of call of duty (modern warfare 2 and 3, and that black mops game, even though they're all the same.), halo seemed to have the better aiming. i don't remember why, but i preferred halo more than call of duty

Modern Warfare is 60fps, Halo3 is 30fps. Halo 3 features inconsistent accelerating-model, while Modern Warfare is mainly linear mapping. There is a reason why Modern Warfare navigation model is superior, every competitive pro-player would agree.
