Oh, I saw you. You were on the Blue Team, staying in your spawn room with the intelligence, while a bunch of us Reds were outside, trying to kill you so the game could progress.

I'm not the only one getting dc'ed from the server am I?

I'm getting a lot of "server protocol error" and "server sent unexepected data" recently.

Other than that, great job! I don't even play TF2, just like pixely games! :p I'm pro nerf-Quote too.

Does this happen with b19? If so, on joining or after you have already started playing? I was under the impression that b19 was stable once you were connected.

I'm not sure if it's been said before or not, but if you play sniper in window mode you can scoope pretty far by moving mouse outside of window-screen.

Most of the time for me, I can connect to the lobby and get into games just fine, but sometimes, ingame, the frame rate starts going down to the negatives, and I lag like hell. Doesn't happen when there are only a couple people though.

I found a way of walljumping with scouts.. It's led to some.. interesting places.

You can also go to some places with the rocket jump, you. It's harder, but once you get to the place you want, it makes it easier to camp. (My user name is You, by the way. Although I'll most likely change it to Asdf64.)

Since people are going to find out anyway, here's how you do it with a scout.
1) Jump up against the wall you want to climb.
2) Make you sure you are facing away from the wall.
3) Turn and face the wall once you hit it.
4) Face away and jump up.
5) Repeat Steps 3 and 4 until you get to where you want.

With rocket jump you have to use the cave story guy (I don't know his name)and shoot yourself with the rocket to get up.

Cow, you're not the only one getting disconnected. Plus the rooms always get laggy as hell sometimes. I even had a game where is was...*sigh* (I'll hate myself for saying this, but...) over negative 9000.  Lips Sealed I also have problems with even connecting! 90% of the time the server will be A) "Connection failed", B) "The server is full", or C) just laggy as hell. Can you at least add, like, something that tells you how many people are in the server, so I don't have to click the server over and over until it lets me in? (Yes I know this is long but I had a lot to say.)

You can also camp at the helltrikky map (above your base, at least if you're BLU). With 2-3 mines any class can go to that places btw. Ah, and helltrikky's map also have a wall without collision next to the BLU spawn (upper route), run to the left and double-jump where the wall is like _/ to enter.

For those who are having problems to log into rooms, try again when you get the error (unless it's the 'server is full' obviously). The negative numbers problem is because the host is too far away OR frozen.

I said it before, the absolute value of the number in the upper right does not mean very much, only the changes (e.g. if it drops quickly there's probably a server or connection problem) and it's not a framerate display.

Concerning networking errors while playing, that should not happen anymore. I will have to check the networking code yet again I guess. It might be connected to the errors people get on joining, maybe there's still a bug in one of my helper scripts, e.g. when dealing with receiving partial data or when a buffer can't de completely sent.

What particular problem do you have getting it to work locally? Just start a server (you might want to disable the "announce to Lobby" setting) and connect by IP.

Edit: There was a bug in my networking scripts again, I'll check some other things and try to improve the collision code, and push out a new version.

You can all bots if you like, but honestly, I think it's too much work to write bots for this game that would be fun to play with.
