Why don't we just take all the corrupt politicians and corporate owners, round them up on one big island, perhaps Greenland, and leave them there?

This view of the world is so naive that I wonder if you only think Greenland is big because of the Mercator projection.
I tried voting exactly once in my lifetime. I have this belief that, if you can vote, you have a responsibility to be an informed voter. And so far I've abstained from voting because I simply did not have the time to make that commitment. But I had that time this time. So I decided to try it out. I started my research with a bill called Issue 2, which was some anti-union thing. Okay, should be simple, I'll just pop up Google on my break and hash out my opinions on the matter.
Go to site 1, which had the text of the bill itself. I couldn't read it. It was big and very hard to read, compounded with the fact that it was actually repealing another law, so it read like when your baby sis calls you up and says "Hey can you not never not drive me not to see a movie?" and you just are sitting there in a daze wondering what Nickelodeon is doing to her brain these days.
Whatever, so I'm an idiot. Let's see if other sites can help idiots like me comprehend this issue! So I pop up Google, and start searching. After half an hour, I'd pretty much worked my way through Google's relevant information, and I still knew nothing about the bill. Yes, the Republicans were saying that it must pass otherwise the economy will plunge into dark ages and local businesses will be forced to accept rotting meat as legal tender. And the Democrats were saying that, if it passes, all of our government-sector employes will be forced into a communal wood-chipper, and YOU'RE the one who'll be pushing them in. Two biased views, skewed upon their effects, with nobody actually coming out and saying what the freakin' thing does.
I got scared. For my free time, and for the state of the state. And the country. And people and me and where we're all going.

I know. I've tried it. I once tried reading a bill. I think these things are not even written in the languages they claim they are. The opening post was a joke. I'm just pissed of at the world. A superpower wants to destroy my countries culture, the only man who can save the superpower from imminent self collapse is neglected by the worlds main institution that is supposed to report on this kind of stuff, and there's this fucking thing called school that I have to go to and get brainwashed and shit and I don't have time to think about this. ITS NUKKEN FUTS!!!

The only part I haven't figured out is how to convince others to do this too.
