This theme has been here for ever. Good luck getting Derek to change it.
EDIT: That was kinda sarcastic, as in this theme has always been here, Derek is never gonna change it. But you're welcome anyway.

Would also be cool if feedback/devlogs, could have a thumbnail/screenshot of one's game next to their title (I guess similar to steam's store list).

I love the design, it's a keeper, but changing width should be nothing major.
It's a fair post, badly titled, but fair anyway.

I disagree. Research shows that text is easiest to read when the lines are of a certain optimal length. Unrestricting this would make it worse, not better.

Yeah i disagree also. Think it's a good think restricting people to a width. Already have issues when people post massive images that I can't see on my laptop without scrolling. Don't want people going crazier and posting bigger ones. Also think as Core Xii says the current width works well for reading. At times I check the website on my phone and it works as currently set.

I'm sorry I dont have links to back this up but studies show that people prefer reading short lines (~60-80 characters per line) but they do read much faster with longer lines (~120ish or more).

I hate reading lines of text on a massive width, by the time I've gotten to the end of the line I've forgotten how the line began and then I've lost my place.
So for the percentage of the audience of this site that you want to alienate by implementing an unreadable css, what would you suggest?
Because my memory isn't going to get better as I get older.

It would actually be nice if posting a large image would stretch just that one post outside of the fixed width. Because scrolling inside a post is really irritating.

I like fixed widths, and I have full hd res. So no, don't 'fix' the forums.

It'd like to see the topic display get bumped up from 20 to maybe 25-30. Right now games in the feedback and devlog forums get paged quite fast. It would actually be nice if posting a large image would stretch just that one post outside of the fixed width. Because scrolling inside a post is really irritating.
Yeah, but I'd prefer it if the the shot was automatically resized to fit but clicking it opened it up full size in a new tab. Would also be cool if feedback/devlogs, could have a thumbnail/screenshot of one's game next to their title (I guess similar to steam's store list).
I think a better way of doing this would be for Daid's image crawler have the option of grabbing the first image from each of the feedback/devlog topics then just showing them like a gallery. I asked Daid about this but he seems too busy to do it and I know sod all about php so have no idea how to do something like that.

big images should just get scaled down automatically with a link to view the larger version
