Looking beautiful. Some of the walls stones have their gaps shaped in the geometry and some are texture only? Also, are you using normal(and specular) mapping? Do you also use parallax mapping?(doesn't look like that). Sorry for the techincal questions... I hope it's ok. I also wonder if the game is going to look the same on the iPhone, or some of the shaders are going to be removed so it could run on a weaker device like a smart phone?

yup, lighting gripes aside, this game is great. they totally managed to capture the tension and excitement of the DM games and updated the formula subtly without dumbing it down.

im amazed by how buttery smooth it runs on my computer on max settings. and aside from a single one on startup, there are no noticeable loading times at all, not even between levels. i honestly didn't expect this game to be this polished, both from a gameplay and a technical standpoint.

Just bought this and am now waiting for it to finish downloading. Unfortunately I may not be able to play it until for over a week as I don't have my main computer

In order to install bootcamp it insists I print out a load of instructions on a printer I don't have. Also - fuck installing Windows on a Mac. I tried that shit with Parallels and there's just loads of basic things missing because the hardware is so different.

uhm parallels is a virtual machine, of course running an os inside of another os isn't going to work as well as a native installation.
also the hardware isn't different. if you have an intel mac (which you do if you bought your mac after 2006) the hardware architecture is the exact same as a pc.
and lastly ive never had to print any instructions when using bootcamp what are you talking about. no offense but your post sounds like you didn't even try.
posting this from windows xp on a macbook pro

The instructions told me to print out a huge ass list of instructions before I even started. What am I supposed to think?
"Oh, it told me to print this shit out. I know I'll risk all of my work on this machine by not doing what I'm told because I'm psychic."
Aside from the fact that if I'm going to play the thing on a Mac, I'd rather play it designed for a Mac. As opposed to having a bunch of missing keys or keys in the wrong place.
My beef is having to wait to play it properly.

the game is designed to be played almost entirely with a mouse, which is a terrible idea considering the result and how you have to control the game, but means you should be fine with your keyboard
