Basically I'm after a dead short signature tune for the beginning/end. I tend to use SID/AY tunes as bumpers during the episodes.

Hey, I'm a fresh face here and new to the indie game, but I'd really like to get my feet wet and start producing some material for free. Well first of all, welcome to the world of indie! I'm sure you'll have a great stay.

Secondly, it's a really nice track with a cool Egyptian vibe but I'm not sure how it'd really cut down into something punchy enough for 5-10 seconds at the top/bottom of a podcast. The bits with the runs(?) about a third-half in might do, but it strikes me as the sorta' tune that'd loop in the background, rather than act as an intro/outro.

It not being a SID ain't an issue at all, though. I just use SIDs/AYs because I've got a load of them and I like those retro tunes.

deathbeforedigital: The shortened version is nice, yeah, but it's still very Egyptian which kinda' sets an agenda in my head.

ZackParrish: I really like that first one in particular, s'nice and punchy. I can see how it works well with a podcast.

Um, I don't wanna' lead anyone up the garden path, though, so I'm not sure how to proceed. :\ I'll be honest, I do prefer Zack's though. Sorry.
