Hi everyone:

I'm looking for some feedback on an arcade-style, two-player, 2D dogfighting game that I'm working on. If you've got a friend nearby, I'd love it if you gave it a shot!

Tips:
  • Steering is a two button affair; one is for pull up and one is for dive.
  • Don't climb too fast or you'll stall.
  • Charge up your gun for a powerful shotgun blast.

Very nice control. But I prefered a one player mode.

Good work.

I had occasion to play it with someone and I think it's very fun.

I would have liked the projectiles to have velocity based on the biplanes speed. If I got my speed up enough I was very close to the speed of the bullets and that didn't feel right.

The two offensive options (rapid-fire and shotgun) are very well balanced, they each come off as viable strategies.

I think I have a bug to report, if I have a shield active, and I do a shotgun-burst it seems to hit the shield and destroy it. I can't imagine that's a feature.

All in all, I think it's very good.

Looks nice, but really try to add a single player component, the AI shouldn't be too hard to develop. I rarely get the occasion to have someone near my computer with which I can play such a game.
