This is the thing guys...

You know how most of the "old" people are like "Omg, I grew up with Galaga and mother 3 and like metroid fusion and I even played the SNES and I know what dungeon keeper 2 is and like played age of empires 1/2 and majesty etc..." or something along those lines? Yeah those guys. Those are all great games, I must admit. Im just curious what the younger people will grow up with? Those younger devs around the forums. I myself know a guy who's only 12 and he made a 2d game with slinky physics. I wonder, when they grow up, will they be like "Oh yeah, I grew up with Locomalito and Edmund McMillen and Amanita and Cactus and Vlambeer... oh yeah, And there was also junk like minecraft and MW3 and COD etc" Or will the indies of the future say that the games of the current era should be retained in the spirit of the games of the future?
