Lately a lot of folk music and a variety of chiptune music. I think I listen to music during all parts of my day.

Specific artists would be: The Head and the Heart, M. Ward, Disasterpiece, and flashygoodness.

It's generally something fast and loud, although there are exceptions.  Although when I'm really try to think over a problem, I usually turn it off.

It depends on what kind of mood I want to invoke in myself and how I'm feeling. If I want to get pumped up, I listen to energetic video game tunes. If I want to relax or work on writing a story/plot, I listen to movie soundtracks, orchestra, fantasy, and other slower-paced-but-still-epic tunes. And if I'm stressed out or mad, I listen to rock or punk music.

If I'm drawing/designing/whatever I will listen to regular music.. can't go wrong with some cut-copy/crystal castles etc. but when I'm programming I can't concerntrate if I can hear other people talking/words/singing, so then it's time to bust out the symphony orchestrated tracks of my favorite 16bit rpgs XD

I listen to the music I'm making. I also tend to listen to the same music over and over again to evoke specific moods I'm lookig for.

Anything instrument or with vocals in a language I don't know (so I won't get distracted by lyrics). In productivity mode it's either classical music or favourite OST from games.

Lots of ambient and orchestral pieces. Also I sometimes put on jazz records, it helps me study. Smiley
