Well, I think it's going to be pretty much exactly the same as standard .swf run in a projector.  The only possible performance enhancement would be if you used the native extension capabilities. 
Then you have a couple options:
1) You can actually have threading.
2) The fact that it is in C/C++ should make it inherently faster. 

Obviously, there is some overhead to doing this (I don't know how bad it is), so it might only be worth it for larger tasks.  I need to do some testing on this front.

Ah screw it all. Seeing as I keep changing my mind on what language to go for, I'm just gonna play with all of them. At the moment I'm doing Python 2 & 3, AS3, freeBASIC, C, and whatever the heck else looks interesting.
