I wish to allow pre-orders\sell alphas of my game Sumerian Blood.
Currently I have builds for both Windows and Android.  I might have a linux build soon, and maybe iPhone and Mac later.
I thought of using Indievania for selling on windows. Using the Google Play to sell for Android(if it is possible to sell alphas on Google Play).
Possibly selling on my website as well.
I am thinking of selling the alphas for $7.99, the full version might cost $14.99 (for the windows and Linux versions).
For the Android version, the alpha would be $2.49 and the full version $4.99.

I was thinking selling on portals will strain the long tail profits of my game, but then, I never had a succesful game, so I am not sure how well it will sell anyway. To be honest.

Should I also sell my game on Desura? (I don't like this idea much though).

the price difference between android and window/linux is way too big. why's that?(prepare this for FAQ!)

Well, I preferred not to get into portals(who take at least 30%) first, but I am a bit desperate right now(Financially).
So I will see how it goes without Desura, and if it doesn't go well, I can try to add Desura.

Don't expect that just from putting ur game on Desura u'll get much more buyers. It's not like Steam, they don't have a big community of players searching games on it. You'll still have to drive there ppl by yourself.
