serene your art style and charm, seem perfect for this game idea i had: you are this boy who is at the beach, and a pink octopuss latches onto his head.. so its a platformer, and you have lots of ablities which involve both you/the octopuss like squirting ink at people, or latching onto things with octopuss arms, or sliding down walls (N+ style), by having the octopuss suction the wall a bit.. the character should play like a clumsier Ico.. but yeh. lots of interesting possibilites with it :S

sereneworx, if you don't have the Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams, it's an essential book for anyone to have. It's the best and most comprehensive book on animation ever written. Got this book the other day, and I can confirm it's extremely awesome.

Me either, I'll just have to wait and see, I suppose.
Anyway, Cafe-wise, I'm still working on it when I have the chance, I'm back at school and have some major exams coming up, so there's lots of studying happening. BUT REST ASSURED. YOU WILL SEE SOMETHING SOON.
I hope.

Ah School, as Derek says "How many promising young developers has this menace claimed? Oh, the humanity!" (quoted from front page article about Knytt Online). I suppose I'm among those "promising young developers" too; no time to do anything anymore now that I'm in architecture. No exams, but the constant stream of high stress projects never really end (we'll get the occasional tiny break I suppose, but still, after a bunch of all nighters just to finish a project on time, you need more than 1-2 days to properly catch up sleep/sanity).

Same same for me, having your own company doesn't leave much time to something else. But i try to squeeze in some Café work as often i have time.

I ask, you respond. That's dedication, that is.
I'm going to take a stab at things and ask: HSC?

Barely :p Lower School Certificate. I know that they don't really matter, but I like to do well in things, even when they don't mean thing.

Wait. But that means you're... Oh my. How on earth did you learn to create ideas like this so quickly? And ART like this? My respect for you has increased yet again. ...I know that they don't really matter, but I like to do well in things, even when they don't mean thing.
I agree with architekt. Damned fine philosophy. Will get you far. OH: Hope that didn't sound patronising or anything. Not like I'm much older (uni). But, yeah, most 16 year olds just aren't this talented. Genuinely impressed. Keep it up!

Yeah, I'm amazed at "kids" these days (can I really say that only being in Uni?). The guy doing building Knytt Online is even younger I think. And yeah, great talent ya got there sereneworx; especially your grasp of colour, quite enviable really

No, it didn't seem patronising at all. Oh, and I'm only fifteen, I was bumped up a grade a couple of months ago.

I want to say something really witty to that but then you'll probably just destroy me with some other huge achievement Out of curiosity, where are you studying?
