This is our first go at a mobile app and we thought we would start with something ... grand!

What is it?
Bitpocket allows you to pocket and capture virtual items from real life locations. Using GPS locations, places of interest are displayed as a set of challenges.

Some locations will also contain Pocket items which if your successful will be added to your list of Pocketed items. Once a location is taken, you will be listed as the owner.

Where's it going?
It's going to be a free app made available for iOS and Android devices.

Game features
- Editable profiles
- 'Pocket book' system for seeing what other 'Pocketeers' are up to
- Sausage challenge game (more to be revealed)
- Collect Pockets, trade and exchange
- In-game ranking and coin system

Very cool graphics  Smiley

I will surely check this out when it's... out!  Wink
From what I see, there are some C (from coins?) means that there will be micro-payments to customise our player for example?
Also, may I know what engine/language is this game using? It'd be helpful for myself.

Thanks!

Yes there will be an in-game credit system. You'll receive coins for completing different tasks which you can then use to buy new outfits in game etc.

After going through a few different dev solutions to make the app, they all had pros and cons. We ended up settling on Starling framework for flash (stage3D / 2D bitmapper) which has good performance for what we need.
