Still this "We're big indie, I guess" is what they want ppl to see first. And I didn't mean only Epic Games.

1) They want people to see that first? It was an interview for a Eurogamer: he was contacted about this specific issue.
2) As far as I can tell from Epic's recent history they have not been making a whole lot of money on their 'indie cred.'
3) 'We're Big Indie' is clearly a response to a question like 'are you indie'. It means almost the exact opposite of what you are taking it to mean.
4) He goes on to define what Epic is in more detail and part of that is qualifying that they are an 'independent company'.

Why do people insist on applying a definition to 'indie' that isn't really a definition at all and is so vague and subjective that it's pretty much useless -- instead of a definition that's clear cut and doesn't leave much room for interpretation? Do you just enjoy debating this point ad nauseum? I'm serious about this question.
