I'm sure the people who preordered the game are pleased with this

Incidentally, GoG has confirmed they had no idea this was going to happen, so they've been promoting the game on their site for over a month in anticipation of its release. I am sure they are happy to have this bundle!

Basically Amanita Design can go fuck themselves

It does seem a little early to be having a pay-what-you-want bundle for Botanicula... What reason is there to buy the game "normally" now?

Oh wow, that sucks for GoG and people who had pre-ordered. I did notice they did a lot of promotion on the site for Botanicula, but they probably also got a lot of pre-orders. So I don't think they should be complaining that much. Unless mass people start asking for refunds, which I wouldn't be surprised if that happened.

Though on their Facebook they (GoG) said that people who pre-ordered are going to get the full soundtrack (not just the 3 track demo) and Machinarium for free. So there's that.

Amanita Design, kind of a dick move.

I hope we all learned a valuable lesson here. Don't pre-order (indie) games and never buy (indie) games at full price, just wait for the Humble Bundle.

I thought that was already a well established rule. If not, now it is

i don't really wan to ask for refund, just because a bundle come out. but it's kinda make the people who preorder the game look stupid. and it's kinda a dick move to put up a pay-what-you-wan on first day of sales. they just killed the anticipation of pre-order a product Lips Sealed

It's certainly a dick move to the retailers that put money into promoting the game. Not everyone excited for a game is excited enough to preorder it sight unseen, but I bet they'll buy the bundle for SOME amount of money.

I'm sure GoG has gotten a fair amount of preorders, but I would assume they were betting on more sales after release as well. Either way, it's still pretty sleazy.

nobody complaining, dude. and they just stab then pay for the medical fee.

And GOG.com seems kinda a nice guy to donate $300 in the bundle.
