hey,
i know it probably seems like a strange question, but i wonder if any of you are familiar with the indiegamer.com boards. see, a while ago i made an account there, waited a while before i could post, and then tried to post my portfolio in the appropriate section. i read the formatting rules and everything, but when i next logged in it said i had been banned
"no reason specified, ban will be lifted: never". so i'm just wondering what the hell i did wrong. again, i realise probably a weird question to be asking here, but since i'm completely banned there it's not like i can ask them! and i can't make a new account with them and ask because i'd need a new email adress...

You can get a new email address in like 60 seconds.

I have similar problem with that forum. Whenever I post anything it says that it needs to be approved by a moderator and it never gets.

But I saw some spam topics created by bots so I assume that only I can't post without approval, which isn't nice.

Any idea?

i have seen people post there that said the same thing: something like "i tried to post days ago but my post still hasn't showed up" or something. they still seem to be able to post in other places though, whereas i am completely banned (forever and for no apparent reason)...

that moderator is probably a dick. i really hate those blog/forum/whatever that required your post to review by a moderator, just a waste of time.
