I found Code Hero's video to be pretty bad.

I like how the gameplay footage is just the tutorial game from melonjs.

It also uses stolen artwork:

making fun of people is actually one of the best and most rewarding things you can do, if there are impressionable young minds reading this thread and internalising concepts like "bashing" and "constructive criticism" you are being unwillingly indoctrinated into a weakling's world view and you should go be mean to your mother right now and say something mean spirited about her cooking

I've got a few bills I need to pay, which one of the tutorials that came with Game Maker should be my new $5,000 Kickstarter project?

Also:

I found Code Hero's video to be pretty bad.

The 'Code Hero' kickstarter is... what??? "Make a video game in 60 days and put it on kickstarter".

1) Why? If you made it in 60 days why do you need money to finish it?

someone should make a reality show like that one where gordon ramsay tells people they make the shittiest food he's ever tasted, except it would be SuperJoe and kickstarter projects
OKAY

Heck, that should be a kickstarter project in itself

The music isn't the only thing that makes you want to sit in a dark corner.... WTF

On a positive note, I kind of like the "Grim Reaper" girl character. If the gameplay and levels didn't look so blatantly half-assed and the enemies weren't retarded cakes and ice cubes he might actually have a neat little project going. Still not something I'd pay for, but maybe something I'd at least play.

Also, for shits and giggles I dropped a drum beat on the background music just to see what it'd sound like and it sounds awesome (in a so bad it's good kind of way).

Yeah, this is just sad. Also, did the guy inhale helium before making his out-of-focus video?

I want to be him for halloween.

^Fucking hilarious, now I can't stop looking at the dude in the lower-right corner and thinking he's stoned the whole time. And does anybody think the dude speaking through most of this video looks vaguely like Paul Eres??

Anyways, regarding this thread, I thought it was kind of dickish at first but then I saw the actual videos. Holy shit. Left to Rot is aptly named, and I was actually angered by the pitch man's complete lack of vision and that he basically just wants to make the next shallow, derivative FPS piece of shit, and with zombies, no less. Wow... There are no words; at least not kind ones.

CyberShot is depressing. The dude giving the pitch looks like he's ready to off himself at any minute... $300,000? Really? Hahaha, I'm speechless.

The Thera game was just sad... I thought the dude's voice was actually a text-to-speech voice modulator at first. The game, of course, looks like a piece of shit. One YouTube commenter nailed it with, "this is what hell is like"... It's like baby's first Game Maker game... on autism.

Your World is equally a joke and the guy pitching it makes me want to vomit in my mouth because I can't help but think of the tiny Asian prostitutes he drills on a nightly basis, and how they must hate their lives by having to get porked by Jabba the Hutt.

The Ron Paul game is basically a Super Mario Bros 1 clone with a political message tacked on and 1000x shittier gameplay (I had to think of a big number because the original SMB was great, but this game looks like a desolate wasteland devoid of any creativity) Also, the graphics looks like somebody vomited a pile of "I don't know what the fuck I'm doing" all over the game.

I honestly feel that my life has gotten poorer post seeing this thread.

Not really a video game project... but this pledged more than their goal.

Then there's the rocks - these aren't your average run-of-the-mill rocks.
They come from the oldest mountain range in North America

Aren't most rocks and mountains old?

Oh boy, it comes with a burlap sack!
What a revolutionary game, I never once did this as a kid the moment I stumbled across any large amount of rocks.
