So I have. Ever really done Anything with saved data before. I was just wondering how you would go about doing it for the iOS. I haven't found really anything helpful in my searches.

I've been using sharedobject to save data.

thanks. I have started using that but now I find myself at a bit of a problem. My game is going to have a lot of enemies in it and they will unlock slowly. Would it be best, to still use that to save all the unlock data?

Not sure what you mean by that.  I mean, just save a Dictionary with key values of enemy types and whether they've been unlocked.

I have never used a an as3 dictionary, but will look into them. One thing I was wondering I load most of the enemy stats from an XML. is it possible to rewrite an embedded XML file?

it would probably be easier to explain what I am trying to do with an example. so the game has 5 enemies to choose from, but once you beat the game a 6th harder enemy is added to the pool. so on and so forth. so I basically need to keep track of what enemies are locked or unlocked.
