this disney shit makes me want to puke. They can't draw a male that doesn't look like a gorilla (I blame repressed homosexuality)

I got excited when I saw Don Bluth is on their team. Maybe that's just early placeholder art.
There's a good idea in there somewhere, but I'm not so sure of this. Rather than creating a template system to let players build their own story, it might have been better to incorporate this into an existing game. When "Emergent gameplay" is high on the list of features, I get a little worried.

Better yet, being in the jungle literally all his life, why doesn't he have a Crusoe-esque beard?

If there's any real reason to love him, it's that he animated Ratigan. In any case, I was actually off-put because Don Bluth was involved in that Kickstarter.

Tarzan is the only one with a reason to look like a gorilla, and yet he's the only one to have normally proportioned legs, and a human neck

I don't like these projects that sell off parts of the design of the game on kickstarter ...

So far this is the only thing in the thread I've had any interest in (although that Atari 2600 cart sounds awesome). I knew it was happening since he's been talking about in on the blog but this month my donations are going to Avaaz. In the future I'll probably donate to the upcoming Castle Story kickstarter or, if he ever decides to fund his game that way, a Neo Scavenger kickstarter.

I enjoy playing Settler of Catan and am interested in more board games. This game, Tammany Hall, caught my eye. I'm not a backer of it, at least not yet, but it looks good. It costs a little more than I think I am willing to invest in a board game at this time. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/872179144/tammany-hall"Tammany Hall has been called a “Holy Grail” game by many gamers due to its great reputation and extremely limited availability. Only 500 copies of the game were ever produced, and since then the game has only been available on online auction sites for premium prices. That’s the reason for this kickstarter project. Tammany Hall is one of my favorite games and I want to make sure it gets into as many player’s hands as possible. I’ve teamed up with Stratamax Games to make sure this game gets the wide release it deserves."

i'd suggest to the OP making a list of these in the first post of this thread (along with a list of dates that they expire) -- would be easier than having to go through the whole thread
i don't know of any projects to add to this thread right now, radix's was the last one i was interested in, but it's 5 days failed now

The Nesl just broke half of its goal and has about half of its time left. I hope it tips over the edge and makes it. I really want one.
