It has been a while.So, let us venture forth once more into the star-studded world of LITERARY ADVENTURE!
But first, what is an Exquisite Corpse? Wikipedia, that bastion of knowledge, tells us:
"Exquisite corpse, also known as exquisite cadaver (from the original French term cadavre exquis) or rotating corpse, is a method by which a collection of words or images is collectively assembled. Each collaborator adds to a composition in sequence, either by following a rule (e.g. "The adjective noun adverb verb the adjective noun") or by being allowed to see the end of what the previous person contributed." Fascinating!
This is an exercise which requires no writing ability, just boundless creativity and the ability to meet a deadline because you people are the worst at deadlines I swear
...but no matter! In essence, each member will write a short section of prose, perhaps a few sentences long. This will be sent on to the next member (and myself, the organizer), who will form a follow-up section leading on from where the last left off. This, and this alone, he will send off to the next in line (and to myself, once again). Thus will be formed a story which is connected and yet inconsistent with itself, as befits its surrealistic and artistic origins. Just remember you must respond within 48 hours of receiving the last section or you will be skipped!
From chaos arises order, except sometimes when it doesn't! So sign up, it requires little investment but is rewarding and enjoyable, especially when you see the end-result! Post below in the
