Greetings fellow Independents Gentleman

This is Andrew from The Village Blacksmith, formerly known as Epic Shadow Entertainment, creator of Tower of Greed, Pixel Purge and a whole slew of other less-interesting games.

I’ve started a video dev diary for my latest game, to which I post a new video each day. I’m not sure if any of you are interested in this kind of thing, or if this is even the correct forum for such talk, but there you have it.

You can view the playlist here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL06A5BC3DC3411B88

Be sure to check back daily for the latest episode, and feel free to suggest features for the game or the videos themselves. Thanks!

Can't say I care for the graphics, but since you're doing this all on your own, it can slide. Also because Terraria is still a thing. Looks like it'll be fun but I've never actually been into Minecraft or those types so. . .

Finally, some more survival games that seem worth it.

I'm currently developing one to, although its perspective is top down its quite advanced.

Good luck, I'll keep tracking this.

I like the art style. Reminds me of Earthbound.

I like the theme of this game, and graphics too. Is there somewhere more in-depth explanation of the game mechanics and features? I am curious because I once had similar idea for a such game too.

Seems to be a popular theme, I also have a game of this type planned... more roguelike though, but thats a game quiet far off as I have several games to go through first.
[ Re-do my Kickin Sticks game , do a platform action game stressing controls , do a game exploring a unique mechanic , a basic roguelike-atarihauntedhouselike , then THE GAME ( you know the one you really wanted to make ))

You may want to request this be moved to the devlog section of the forums though as this section is mostly for art and audio in games , the devlog is specifically for... devlogs  Tongue
