Cool!
Since screen space is so limited, you should consider taking up the entire screen to view the log. That way you'll have more space to work with. Health and that bottom bar probably aren't relevant when viewing the log anyway.

so does the player set the color or is it set in code? like is each floor a random color or is the game slowly tinted to a different color as you deeper into the dungeon?

Color is defined by the player in the main menu and stays the same through the whole gameplay

cool. is that mana underneath the hearts? it might be better to have the hearts go across the top and the other part go down the side. that way it frames the game.

Fix it, fix it nao! Looking at your video, which I like, will you add a damage indicator to fights? I see you clicking the enemy but it'd be nice to see, if and how much damage was dealt.

I'll add a small number popping up when you hit an enemy

Also fixed that bug, it was caused because the buttons didn't update when they weren't being drawn and they kept their held boolean on
