Wednesday/Thursday is the only days Threesided is available. From what I can see, everyone's good for both, I only chose Wednesday because it was sooner. Unfortunately it has to be one of those two days. If by chance Thursday is better for you than Wednesday, we could do that, if not, we're pretty much locked in for Wednesday.

As far as calling ahead for me, that would be fantastic, and it would be greatly appreciated, so lemme know about what I posted above, and if it's all good, we'll continue from there.

OK so I have work (unskippable) on thursday till 7, and I have something else that is 6:30-11 on wednesday that is skippable if necessary. So really it depends on the time, if we are thinking about doing it later in the evening then thursday is better for me that way I can attend both things that I have and still make it out to this.

I was thinking about starting it earlier in the afternoon, since it sounds like a lot of people actually want to jam and make something. I don't expect a lot of us to stay out late into the night/morning so to get enough time to jam I figured we'd start it at 2pm (although I'm still messaging people to see what works for everyone). If it becomes too much of an issue, don't feel like you're obligated to join us. I'm sure we'd all like to meet you, but it's probably not worth stressing over, trying to rearrange your own plans to fit ours.

Yeah ok, so wednesday will work then, the soonest I can get there is probably 3:30 and I have been out of the game development mode for over 6 months working on other stuff so I may not jam but I will attend. Do you think it is feasible to book a table at Snakes and Lattes for a whole day though?

The amount of time we spend there shouldn't be a problem. We're only booking the number of people and the time we're coming in. Their site literally says, "Explore our collection and play as many games as you'd like for as long as you want".

You can say the table is for Wednesday, June 6 at, let's go with 3:00pm actually. The group is for 6 or 7 people and if they press you for a specific number, say 6 since that's the confirmed amount. Finally, ask if they have a wireless connection we can use to access the internet.

Thanks again for making the call in advance! If you run into any problems with the booking, feel free to let me know here and I can take care of it myself.

So I called and tried to book but apparently you can only book online. So before I hung up I asked about wifi and there is none. I looked around a bit online and laptops are pretty frowned upon, usually because they cause isolation. I figure in our case we could most likely get away with it. Anyway so I went online and booked and they said they would get back to me within 24 hours with the status of the booking. So now we wait.

Uh oh, could it be they're videogame unfriendly?!  I don't want to get a bunch of stinkeye the whole time we're there .. >_>

Eh, I'm fine with the stinkeye. The fact that there's no wifi is depressing though, I guess if we need to share assets across the table I can bring a USB, haha.

Thanks for booking the table Sean, it's greatly appreciated!

I don't think they are unfriendly to video games I think they just don't like people tuning out with their laptops like most coffee shops, I think that if we have a big group we will obviously be socializing in addition to using our computers so there most likely won't be a problem. As long as we take some breaks to play board games I don't see a problem
