this was a nice write-up over at archive.vg , there are a number of points in anodyne that totally divide most players (not a lot of explicit story closure, jumping puzzles,) and those points turned to hate for the writer - which is interesting - but still a nice read : http://archive.vg/blog/18-reviews/103-zelda-homage-anodyne-s-literal-and-metaphorical-descent-into-madness

even though some dislike it, I still see the frustration with lack of closure and answers (esp. with the "secret"-ending) to be a win, and am glad to have people feeling that way - framing the adventure as a thought process might help to explain my point of view?
