It'd be cool if there was a blow-by-blow guide explaining the glitches they used. TASVideos.org includes those with every run, and that's sometimes more fun that watching the actual video.

That binoculars glitch is pretty funny. Actually, I didn't even know the binoculars were in DS2. Around 12:56 he does a lot of damage to the Giant Lord as he rolls - can someone explain how he did that? I was thinking maybe he ran so fast that he led a fireball all the way over there. I think the statue head fell and hit him? Oh yeah, that seems more likely. I guess he got in the path of it. i didn't know the throne watcher could fall down the pit doesn't seem to be a glitch either because the defender doesn't try to revive him after he falls to his death, i.e. there's a game state for it You can trick Dragonrider into leaping into the pit, too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyTB-L760y0

heh, i found the dragonrider one myself by accident on my second playthrough of the game on launch week, when making a new character since that i always run and quick kill him first for the souls then rush flexible, and do the window jump for the key so i can skip ruin sentinels as that fight's just annoying on a low level melee character. There's a lot of quick kills and skips in 2, and a lot of easy ways to get OOB (some of them just by jumping), glitchwise i'd say 2 has more than dks1 and demons did combined at launch (though i dont think there's an infinite souls glitch in 2...yet, the one in dks1 was patched out and the one in demons still exists), some of them like the parry roll shown in that speedrun above and it's cousin on the ziplines are pretty funny, especially when you do them when summoned for co-op.

As long as the DLC's well designed and the amount of content justifies the prices, I don't care. Oh, and if they bother to fix covenants. Adding new content like this gives them a lot of options to fix broken systems (or add another Gold Tracer... hoo boy)

I'm not going to buy it for awhile, because if all the areas are the size of each area currently in game (which is generally like 30 - 45 minutes) then $25 for three 45 minute areas is a rip-off.
