Haha, will do. I was growing skeptical with the disappointment surrounding it but I really do just want more Souls.

compared to Dark Souls and Demon's Souls, Dark Souls II is buttcheeks.

compared to all other games it is one million times better.

rip how the dks2 dlcs started out so strong then got progressively worse. i dont even particularly feel like finishing them.

It looks like Dark Souls II is getting a PS4/Xbox One port.

I don't have any plans to get a new system anytime soon, so it looks like both DS2 and Bloodborne will have to wait a good while (I'll be waiting for this version to play DS2).

some ppl are saying it's going to be released as a free update for PC but i can't find any confirmation on this.

EDIT: looks like the new content is free but the graphics upgrade isn't?

Yeah it's hard to tell what exactly they are trying to say.
It's going to result in two store listings on steam, Scholar of the First Sin probably has all the DLC built into the game so they can't just give people that edition for free if they don't already have all the DLC.

Hopefully they do what the Deus Ex: Human Revolution upgrade did and heavily discount it for previous owners.

to be honest the graphics upgrade doesnt look that drastic from the screens ive seen. im guessing the ps4/xbone version will look approx the same as the current pc version on max settings. all we know about the new pc version is that it uses directx 11.

if the content really is free i'll most likely pass on it.

Changing the topic, recently I've started farming the Rat King covenant. I was inspired by my first encounter when I got summoned to a guy and I didn't really know what was happening, I thought I was invading or something. How infuriating it was when he was running away from me because he sucked and then killing me as I was surrounded by rats, screaming WHY ARE YOU NOT ATTACKING HIM RATS WHY

In general that whole luring trespassers into your world is such a scumbag thing to do, they're at a total disadvantage. And the area is so neglected Angry If anyone wonders, you can ignore the world host and just run through the area and there will be a fog gate right before the second bonfire, the one before the rat boss. Entering it will make you leave the world you were lured into.

anyway, what we do know is that the new content is going to be in the old version too (and it's going to be free as well!) but afaik bamco hasn't said anything on whether the graphics upgrade will be free or cheaper for owners of the old pc version.

also like i said the gfx upgrade doesnt look that big. it's definitely not the lighting from the old previews, that's bs.

Too early to tell if it's a good thing or a really bad thing. Actually, same thing applies to the entire game, I s'pose. Here's hoping it's a return to form, something like DeS maybe (I would say DkS but pretty sure this game isn't going to be open-world like that)

Yeah I missed the whole '1 dungeon only' thing from the vid. I actually wouldn't have minded multiple procedurally generated dungeons, if it were done right (Pikmin 2 instead of TES).
