I think it would more likely be limited consumable items (bonfire swords), kinda like soul vessels.

its also probably going to be limited by area and stuff. i highly doubt you'll be able to just create a bonfire anywhere

It's the same guy. He's beaten it with all manner of controllers.

the ornstein smough video is impressive, it feels like he is on control of everything because of the voice control and then at the end it's like he is going to cry.

But it's really fast. =[ Strafe around the Asylum Demon, wait for the butt slam from a safe distance and then hit him with a heavy attack, duel wielding your weapon, to make it even faster.  (or just black firebomb him to death, even before you get your equipment)

Go for it and you'll see that its going to be over before you know it.

once it "clicks" with you, you won't want to play anything else for quite some time. happened to me with demon's souls. but yes, it took a fairly long time to click, mainly bc i was trying to approach it like a normal action rpg.

I don't think that I'll be able to avoid this one like I have the other two so far.

You do recall correctly. I did recently buy an i5 Surface Pro 3 for uni though, but even that is not very powerful since it's intended to be used for taking notes and stuff.

they have onboard graphics. i just read a review on some german site that says it runs games ok tho (at low settings). biggest problem seems to be heat, but that's true for pretty much all portables as i'm sure you know.

anyway, to get back on topic

remember those rumors that the bloodborne dlc was going to be handled by tanimura and his dreaded "b team"?

turns out miyazaki is in fact doing it himself, in addition to working on ds3: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/i-can-handle-bloodborne-dlc-and-dark-souls-3-simul/1100-6429605/

i wonder if he will retire from hands on gamedev after ds3 and possible DLCs are done?

would be a shame, i'd love to see him do more (and esp non-souls) stuff
