idk i always manage to kill the titanite demons with a lot of rolling and circlestrafing and/or magic. the one before darkroot is a walk in the park compared to the room in sen's fortress with 2 titanite demons and the respawning one in lost izalith.

Titanite Demons do not get the bleed status. None of the heavy/armored monsters do.
yeah, just killed another one and you're right, they don't , they still go down REALLY fast to the katana's though, i just did the one at the bridge over the annoying lava monsters and he went down super fast, just circle and cut. Speed seems to be key with doing them and not dying, so i guess any fast weapon that hits decently hard would work. I know the giant armored guys in anor londo bleed though, makes the two giants in the big hall super easy, only takes about 6 quick cuts to kill each. if you have pyromancy too they're super weak to fire, with fire tempest or chaos firestorm you can basicly one shot even the later ones (at least in the first run, not NG+)

I don't think I've successfully repelled a single player invader. I just get lagstabbed and fucked up. It's really fucking annoying.

Only some co-op away from getting every single miracle and weapon in the game. Whoop whoop.

Just started a new Cleric character. I'm gonna try to beat the catacombs and blighttown before leveling up/beating Capra demon/beating the gargoyles.

How do you get lagstabbed by an npc invader?

that's not really answerable, since everyone has a different pc
but if you have a pc built in the past 3 years, probably is less laggy (unless you use the resolution patch)

Finally got the game. Played to the bonfire before Taurus. Still not sure if I should use Estoc or go with familiar Zweihander with mage. Enchanted estoc's stats don't look very good though.

Using DEX weapons like the Estoc is better for a mage, since DEX raises your casting speed while STR doesn't. I prefer them myself, since they are faster when buffed with Crystal Magic Weapon with similar power. Enchanted and Magic weapons are less powerful than using the Magic Weapon spells on a normal weapon, but the trade-off is that most of the time it will only be affected by your physical stat. Generally, using Magic Weapon is better for PVP.

well, since you're a mage, you should have int as one of your primary stats and little to no dex and str, so remember with that that magic weapons while technically less powerful than enchanting a weapon they get a large damage bonus from your int stat (personally until you're around SL120 i wouldnt even bother putting dex on a mage character, you dont get any speed bonus to casting at all until around 30 dex and that's a LOT of wasted leveling early in the game that would be better spent on int and hp.)
Personally i'd grab a smaller faster weapon and make it a magic weapon, though if you like the heavy hitters that's fine, just remember those scale damage primarily with str so it'll actually be doing less damage than the smaller weapons if str isn't where you're putting all your points. (though they're decent offline i don't think i've seen anyone effectivley use them in pvp either. The guy who can ascend weapons to magic weapons is actually right at the beginning of the game if you havent seen him (i didn't until my third playthrough...), just go down into the ruins using the elevator under firelink shrine, at the far side near the stairs up to the valley of drakes there's a stairway down that's really easy to miss, with a guy laying next to it, the smith is down there.
