Revolt

Platform: iOS (Universal)
Genre: Physics Based Castle Defense

Expected Release: Late Summer 2012
Revolt is a casual castle defense game where you manually take hold of a ball and chain and pummel peasants into the dirt. We're coding it in Objective-C, and the core mechanics are already in along with a decent chunk of gameplay and art.

Killing peasants earns you gold (of course) which you can use to repair and upgrade your castle to defend it more efficiently. Archers and wizards are available to you, as well as beast tamers to subvert the enemy hordes to your whim.

I'm doing all of the art/design and a decent chunk of the code for this game in collaboration with a friend of mine who has done most of the code thus far. Some preliminary gameplay videos, along with developer thoughts, to come shortly.

The upgrades shop, all items are temporary placeholders. This will be available in between waves, allowing you to upgrade things like your castle's defence, archers, wizards, etc.
