Wow, these are great! It seems that these design documents are the right balance of visual and text. Some of the other design documents I have seen or read through are so text heavy that it is difficult to be interested and follow along.

I'm pretty sure I remember looking at a Team Fortress 2 Design Document in one of the classes I took, and that was also very well done.

Wow, these are great.  It's really interesting to see on the Legend of Zelda one how much they had to plan things around the limitations of the system in order to get the most out of the limited memory.

Seeing that Zelda one makes me feel a little better, but only a little better, about the horrific messes of random thoughts and ideas I smash together on pages.



I tried doing a real design document once, it made me feel dirty.
