The art is great, and the game is quite fun. I would add a customizable control scheme. At least make it where you don't use just one hand, as it's pretty hard to control that way. too many hidden traps I think...
I would disagree. The game requires you keep a ninja-like awareness of your environment. It's just part of the theme.

I really like this game. Great graphics, music, and gameplay. Sort of a cross betweem Jumper, Oi, Knytt, and the outer wall in cave story.

Woo! 564 deaths. I guess that's not very good. But it was good fun! Also it seems that double-jump doesn't work 100% of the time, especially if I'm moving horizontally. Is that normal?

Wow, this was really, really hard. However I am really bad at these kinds of games. But it was very fun, great look and fun controls, though maybe allow rebinding the keys as someone mentioned? I know this isn't very impressive progress overall, but it was for me...

Genius, i loved it! it felt odd playing with the WASD keys by myself tho. The mood of the game, and the name, are gold

Ossum 286 deaths
One thing though, is the spikes that were covered in vines or something. Not evident enough you know? I mean, I see that's sorta the whole point, or part of it, but, it got sorta annoying when I kept dying and was like wtf is killing me?
Fun though. Excellently designed levels.

i'd first like to thank everyone who has played it (and hated it) - you guys are shaping the final release of HNMM. since this final version is so dam different, i'm calling it Hot Ninja Moon Black. HNMB Features: + menu + save system + control re-configuration support + gamepad support + 3 sets of worlds (even a winter one pissing me off atm) + actual co-op -- yeah, HNMM was slammed for its actual lack of cooperation. now there are actual puzzles that require 2 players (never forget 1 player support ) + enemy ai (actually they are friendlies) + wall-jumping (so far there are 60 maps -- prolly should slim it down ) HNMB Fixes: + jumping problem fixed (gdit) + collisions refined + dust particles minimized (also added transparency) (eased up on the traps -- can be seen in some of the pics) pics: thoughts?

Wow, this new version seems to have everything I could have wished for (didn't really post on it so far, sorry, but I played it), so where can I download it? Or is this just planned features so far? EDIT: After rereading, it seems this is just a teaser, huh? The post radiated this "here, try my new version" feel to me.

Is it just me or every time someone mentions XP I see someone with their eyes closed tight and their tongue sticking out before I get that they're talking about XP?
Also, just wondering but, how good are the people that make these kinds of games at their own games?

awesome game. Loved every bit of it. Although I was kind of hoping for an insane plot twist ending. That's what the whole atmosphere felt like it was setting up for. :< (Something like: Hawhawhaw, you are not actually a ninja fool, you are but a bloodthirsty villager. You shall suffer more then the others who have died trying to reach this point, for now you must turn and watch them as they slaughter themselves in my evil trap.)

arg, i'm stopping because the double jump appears to only work randomly for me. I'll try it out again when the finished version is out, but it's a promising start, from what I say.
