This was a really long time ago, so I don't remember exactly what I did wrong. Basically, the font texture was used for the door instead of the door texture. That, and I had screen clearing turned off for some reason.

Experimenting with my old procedural grass-in-the-wind code, and commented out the line that makes it reassume its shape.  Looks really weird in motion.

Floppy grass! Pretty cool. I was trying to figure out what it looked like, but I couldn't really come up with a real-life analog.

I was playing with correcting the vertices of a "cube voxelization" of a noise function with a single newton iteration to get a smooth surface to get the following result:


But at first i screwed up the sign and instead turned the world into a spiky hell :D
