This is just the gameplay for one of my latest games that I made while learning AS3.  This is a work in progress, so menus and music will be added later.  It is a vertical shooter, but it is very short and simple because I am making a bunch of smaller projects while learning.  I figured that I could get some feedback while doing the music and menus.  Any feedback or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.  The white box at the side will be fixed, don't work.

Cool, I like the graphics! Would look a lot better if the background scrolled (even parallax). I think the gameplay could be improved by having more enemies or even variations of current ones that have horizontal movement because at the moment everything seems to move very vertically. I do like the way the ships boost in and then continue slower though!

There are some enemies that sort of move horizontally, but they are difficult and later in the game, I may add some easier ones earlier on.  Thanks for the feedback.
