I have no idea why they tied this to Lost Planet or why it is getting a PS3 and 3DS release. All of it seems very odd.
I really do like the art style though!

I like manga effect, part with robot flying throught the panels looks really cool, althought I dont like generic anime redhead and blue girl, which pose is ridiculous and her suit going to render her infertile on this planet.

This has Lost Planet plastered all over it when you see the fights and the reel popping up, but the over the top characterization is weird. Not sure if I like it, seeing as I really liked the first Lost Planet. Shoot me!

I wonder if a game with Lost Planet IP is more appealing than Mega Man Legends 3? If so, that'd be very interesting (to me). I can't really think of a recent Mega Man game to come out that wasn't 9 or 10, a remake/collection, or a Battle Network game.

I was under the assumption it's the same team based on the visuals, the style, and the platform(s). Maybe I am wrong, but it just seems a lot like it could be some of that MML3 team. Look at the timeline even. When they announced the project was scrapped, I'd assume they'd put that team or some members on a new/other project. Assuming it is EX Troopers, it wouldn't be too far of a stretch. That's why I think people, myself included, are acting like that. |
