Dead Dawn

The game is a sidescrolling shooter, where you have to use your money to upgrade your weapons and survive. As said before the game focuses mainly on the weapon customization to keep itself interesting to the players and there will be lots of weapons to customize. Anything from a pistol to a rifle can be upgraded. :D
And here are a few things that can be upgraded:

Accuracy: How accurate your weapon is.
Bullet penetration: How many enemies your bullet can go through before it stops.
Damage: How much internal damage your weapon gives.
Fire rate: How many rounds your weapon can shoot.
Magazine capacity: How large your magazine is.
Recoil: Together with accuracy decides how well your weapon shoots.
Health: How many hits you can take before you die.
Armor: Takes some of the damage.

So basically this going to be my blog where I'm going to talk about my game until its release! Smiley

(BTW, I'm also in need of another programmer and a sound/music guy.)

I got a lot of things crossed out this week.
I wasn't fully active in the development progress but here is what I added.
* A semi functional spawning system.
*Music and sfx
*Functional zombie AI
*Functional gun
*Animation of the player and zombies and the first gun
*Fixed loads of bugs.

What am I planing to add this week
*New guns
*Basic shop
*more zombies
*Reloading
*A main menu
*Maybe a webpage or a blog XD

This is what appealed to me the most, since it looks and almost feels like a horror film.
Perhaps if you increased the brightness on the player, it'd help with pull him out of the background (I also remember hearing somewhere around here that the motion sensing portion of our brain sees in black and white or something)

There wont be many more updates, I don't want to show all the guns I made, I'd rather keep them secret Wink
But I will post this gun its a uzi with a silencer.

Right now I'm working on an engine that will make me able to buy guns etc.
And all the guns are already drawn there are few minor bugs that need fixing but except for that the game is nearing its completion!
I think I will be looking for funding to make an app store version and maybe later an android version. I was thinking crowd-funding but still relatively unsure.
