Hi all,

I was inspired by a sketch in Father Ted to come up with this concept. It's called Small, Far Away. I bet some of you will instantly know what to expect just from the title alone Smiley

Welcome to TIGSource and I hope this isn't some kind of plugin where you leave right after

ANYWAY I love the concept and I think it can definitely be used as a main gameplay mechanic (instead of a gimmick) like most games that do this (Portal, Fez, etc)

This would definitely fit in as a Puzzle-Exploration game where a certain way of solving a field must be done to cross (similar to how you needed the star to be small to be able to see shit)

Hiya,

I've been a member for a while. I just don't post much. Well, actually never according to my profile, but that's not correct, I've definitely posted before!

I like the effect. The reason I'm sharing it really is to see if anyone can think of ways to expand on the idea, cos I think it might just be a neat trick at the mo, not a lot of staying power for a full game.

I think I t will all come down to the rules and restrictions you place on the player. Cos at the moment, as yu can probably guess, it's quite easy to 'Break'!

Cool concept, nice video, and I loves me some Father Ted.

Does seem like fodder only for a brief game. What's wrong with that?

Haha, brilliant idea for a game, Father Ted is pure genius!
There's definitely potential for more fleshed-out gameplay, I can't wait to see what you come up with.
It also reminded me a bit of Perspective, regarding the ambiguity of 3d projections.
