Oh, it seems to be that way. Ignore my likelihood claims, I seem to have misread. Now this makes things quite a bit less clear to me. I apologize to you, Garthy, for making false claims. Maybe it was something in my subconscious, a certain primal twang. I can almost recall past lives. Demons... Evil Queens... they have no bearing in reality, but they have served to make a fool of me.
However, that wasn't my only argument. I also stated that SirNiko was the more likely one to not be lying because of the specific nature of his ability. That's sort of why I thought he had contacted you, he would be more likely to from his given ability. However, that is neither here nor there. One of you is guilty, and I still think it's you. And this time I'll explain it in full depth.
There are two realities to consider here:
1. Garthy is a not a liar In this scenario, Garthy identified SirNiko last night and found him to be of the same alignment. He then contacted him and said "Hey, let's be pals". The glaring issue here is this: Why would SirNiko go out and accuse Garthy? The only reason he'd do that is if he drastically disbelieved Garthy's claim, based on no other evidence, which I doubt. Garthy is a rather... persuasive... writer. If both of them were found to be on the same side by Garthy, there would be no reason for this public accusation. It doesn't add up.
2. Garthy is a liar In this scenario, Garthy contacted SirNiko today without knowing SirNiko's alignment or ability, perhaps trying to make friends in high places. Garthy claimed to be a Seer, but his plan backfired when SirNiko turned out to be immune to identification. SirNiko didn't believe him, and called him out. In this situation, Garthy is likely a Freedom's Road operative.
That's why I think what I think. My evidence is crumpled slightly by my misunderstanding, however, I still believe I have enough evidence to vote for you confidently.

Glyph, thankyou for the clarification. I won't say that I am no longer suspicious of you- I am- but what I no longer have is certainty.
You do say that (if I tell the truth) there is no reason for a public accusation. I say that there is. If SirNiko is part of Freedom's Road, and can dodge my ability (via immunity or the ability he stated as his own), and has every detail of my ability freely offered to him, he needs me killed. As an (almost-)Seer they simply cannot let me live. This is actually somewhat obvious and shouldn't need to be stated. That your analysis misses this point is troubling.

There is no need for a public accusation if you two are both on the same side - which is what your Seer ability should have shown to you. The fact that it didn't means it's nonexistent. You were giving the situation as if you weren't certain of SirNiko's alignment. Which you absolutely should be, given your claims. As soon as you said "If SirNiko is part of Freedom's Road," you invalidated your own claims of Seer (because you would have never contacted him if he was). This ability is too powerful to have backfired, and that's the whole of it. The fact that it did means you're likely to be lying.

Hang on a second Glyph. "Immune to identification"? In your "Garthy is lying" scenario, my plan backfired when SirNiko was "immune to identification"? Are you saying that I faked my Seer(-like) abilities, and it actually mattered that SirNiko was immune to abilities that I was (apparently) faking? And what sort of power is "immune to identification" when given to a loyal citizen? Immunity to any potential Freedom's Road Seers that already know he is an enemy? That scenario doesn't even make sense!
Everyone, please read Glyph's scenario. The "Garthy is lying" scenario. That is one spectacular blunder. "Immune to identification" is an ability that no innocent would possess- and if I was lying about being Seer(-ish), it wouldn't matter what his ability was at all!

The immune to identification clause was for SirNiko's sake. It was to identify that you were lying. It didn't matter if you had Seer abilities or not, it mattered that you claimed you did, and that he was immune to these abilities. And to answer your "why would he need to be immune to identification?", he doesn't need to. He claims to be immune to all night actions, so identification is just one of those. So yes, read my "Garthy is lying" scenario. There's nothing wrong with it.

Dear friends, One should ask what are the foundations behind SirNiko's capabilities. What role does he have that has granted him such a very specific permission? How does INANI benefit from this? Another vote for me? Seriously?
Despite all I have said, and the number of holes in the accusations and thoeries being levelled at me, and the nature of my role, I'm copping (almost) all of the votes?
When faced with the choice of multiple potential liars, versus one person lying on his own, given the nature of the scenario, I honestly can't understand how it could be reasonably concluded that I'm the villain here.
Now, some of the votes must could very well be from Freedom's Road operatives, but surely not all of them?
Please, please, carefully consider what I have said. And what other people have said. And how the whole event has transpired. And the flying leaps in logic being displayed. And how quickly I am being piled upon. I really don't want to bring up the "I could be a Seer so you'd better kill the other guy" defence, but really, consider the gravity of the situation! This is an important decision.
I understand that it is confusing. I understand that the decision is almost impossible to make so early on in the game. I hate that circumstances forced me into forcing this decision onto you. It is completely unfair of me to do this. You would be right for cursing me for making this decision, but I was left with no choice. Please, consider it carefully. Consider what has been said. Consider what I am saying and why I am saying it. Consider what SirNiko and Glyph are saying, and why they are saying it.
And then make the right decision.

I hope I did. This earth hasn't seen war or fighting for as long as I can remember, and it tears me apart to do this, but I'll protect INANI no matter what. If this is what I have to do, I'll do it.

May I suggest an approach to ascertain my truth based on rigorous analysis, rather than rigor mortis. The former approach is definitely preferable, especially to me.

I feel like my claims are all in order, but I'll clarify once more.
My role is that of the Paranoid Citizen, and the only way to stay safe in this battle between the rebels and the ORA is to hide myself completely each night. I am therefore completely unaffected by the actions of others at night, something easily verified by any one of you that wishes to confirm this. I am neither a rebel, nor an ORA agent, though I am convinced the rebels, who as far as I know are the only ones out at night murdering innocents, are the enemies of the city.
Garthy did contact ME this morning, claiming he was a seer and an ORA agent who had vetted me last night to know my innocence. I responded once asking for more information, as I was already skeptical of his claims, and had evidence to the contrary. His further explanations convinced me his story was a verbose fabrication in clear contradiction to my own role, leading me to wonder why he would be so quick to claim his role was that of an ORA agent, one that doesn't have the support of allies. The only logical explanation in my mind was that he was in fact a rebel trying to lure ORA agents into revealing themselves for easy execution at night.
He began a lengthy explanation trying to convince me he truly was an ORA agent, which I interpreted as nothing more than an act of desperation as he knew he had already been caught. The only quote he has not taken out of context was my threat to kill him - the rest are fabrications built by copy/pasting my real text, spliced with his own words to make me look like a rebel. I'd post my own transcripts, but unfortunately I did not save them. Such is an unfortunately quirk of INANI's messaging system. It's not like I expected I'd need them, since I don't have a cover story to try and remember.
There doesn't seem to be any other likely combination of factors at play here. If I am a rebel, Garthy is obviously lying about seeing me as an innocent, which just makes his reasons for contacting me that much more suspect. If my role is not what I claim, it will be effortlessly proven tonight and my life will be forfeit (Garthy's by contrast, cannot be proven at all, a convenient quirk of claiming to be the seer).
Garthy was unlucky - he did, by extreme misfortune, contact the one person who could see through his gambit.
There's no doubt in my mind that executing Garthy today will leave us with one less rebel to fear.
