hi, ive been making this game for an upcoming game jam in Manchester ( http://blog.danhett.com/2012/06/mcr-game-jam-at-maker-faire-call-for.html )

The idea is that each player controlls a flock, and compete for resources which fall down the screen.

The controlls are extremely basic, due to the 'you have to stand on the button' thing.
1,2 moves pink
3,4 moves green
n adds pink
m adds green

What i want to know is:

Do you feel your actions influence events in game enough?

Cheers,

I played for a minute, just controlling the pink square. It didn't seem like I was doing any better than the green square, who was just sitting there. I guess that means that I don't feel my actions influenced the game enough. Smiley

I do see some potential here. I'm not sure how much gameplay is constrained by the rules of the thing to which you're submitting, but increasing speed might be nice.

i changed things round quite a bit, so it should be better now. I'm reasonably satisfied with the competitiveness (still more to do though) but i'm concerned about the controls now.

Its meant to be played on a projected screen, with big wireless buttons, but i think the slipperyness might be a bit much.

So please let me know what you think.

(buttons are 1,2 or 3,4 - you can add to the flocks with m,n if you want too)
