I'm going to go ahead and sum this thread up quickly
Spriters Resource < Pixeljoint < Pixelation
I'd suggest posting around Pixeljoint, it's the best beginner zone for anyone.
I started there and now I'm a veteran.
Pixelation is usually for intermediate artists usually people who have drawn before in any other kind of medium.
So people don't actually have to teach you to draw, because thats what most arguments come down to.
A lot of it is based on do you know human proportions, shading, colour all that good stuff.
Start doodling on paper as much as you can, and do pixels in between.
Start small 16x16, get used to working in small pixel sizes then work up to large scale 32x32 - 64x64
Eventually you will begin to get the hang of particular techniques as AA and Selout and avoid such things as banding.
Politics in community are usually only bad when someone isn't willing to learn.
im too tired right now to do anything with you guys's advice but thanks!
This right here seems like a tell tale sign that you wont do well in any pixel community.
The response seems like your blowing off great advice because your lazy.
If your too lazy to check out two websites you are much too lazy to learn pixel art and do it well.
It takes patience to learn this medium, it's not easy.
