Post here objects that you think that excel in terms of design. Fictional designs can be used, too.
Some of my favorites:

LE1 Speaker by Braun

Toaster HT 1 by Braun

Atelier TV by Braun
(Braun does a lot of good looking shit)

iPhone 4 by Apple

Polaroid 1000 by Polaroid

PS2 Slim White by Sony

Qualia 010 by Sony

A word clock I found in a news post a while ago. Unfortunately I don't know who created it. :/

I found recently Dieter Rams' 10 principles for good design. Dieter Rams was the designer of the Braun products I showcased here.
Quote
• Good design is innovative.

• Good design makes a product useful.

• Good design is aesthetic.

• Good design helps us to understand a product.

• Good design is unobtrusive.

• Good design is honest.

• Good design is durable.

• Good design is consequent to the last detail.

• Good design is concerned with the environment.

• Good design is as little design as possible.
Interesting stuff.
