Hey guys, been a lurker here for a while and finally decided to show my face and see if anyone has anything to say, i'm pretty new to video game composing/music and would ideally like to help people out (for free) so i have some things to put together for a portfolio.

I'd like to think of myself as a more classic no-frills composer with a focus more on the "theme" and the emotion of a piece than how impressive or complex the production is.
My background is in live sound engineering and low-key studio recording, which i have been doing for 9 years at the grand old age of 25!

My preferred style is that of RPG games with a strong sense of melody but im easily adaptable whether it comes down to sample replacement/remixes, jazz, metal, classical etc.

This is what i've got as a temporary placeholder portfolio

Finally started using EastWest Symphonic and it sounds great!

Thats a new piece i did today with the new "production" Smiley

and i'd love to hear your thoughts Smiley
I'll take any work that i feel i can do a good job on
thanks for listening!

Jordan

Serene is very nice, good work.

Are you aiming for a retro sound? for example in RPG battle.

Thanks a lot! indeed i am, when it comes to more regular compositions im aiming for the 16-bit/32-bit console RPG esque tracks which i love so dearly haha, realism isnt 100% priority on tracks like those Smiley
